To help you get started, you will not pay a penny in franchise fees if we do not supply you with any pupils in a particular month.

We know from the horror stories we hear on a daily basis that other schools still charge even if pupils have not been supplied for months. In the current economic climate we think this is a little bit unreasonable, therefore, if we cannot supply you with any new pupils in a month we will refund your franchise fee in full. Fair enough?

What we do is take all the hassle and let you TEACH, because that’s the real reason you became an ADI.

The driver training industry is changing and the need to move forward with it and keep ahead in today’s competitive market with the strong competition involved is paramount. Gone are the days where an instructor could rely on referrals and advertising in local papers or shops, competition is fierce and in most cases is young and enthusiastic with a pulse on where young people go to find lessons.

In a perfect world individual driving instructors would be able to afford professional support to rival that of their largest competitors , for example employ a receptionist to personally deal with calls whilst a web-designer would devise a state-of-the art website to help generate new work and attract new business. But in the real world the pressure of earning a living and the expense of additional staff makes these things impossible for most people.

How many times have you turned your phone on at the end of a lesson to find missed calls or gone home to an answering machine with 5 messages on all blank because people don’t want to speak to a machine, sound familiar?

Check Test training

As a fully qualified instructor or PDI about to take part 3, you’ll have to be tested by the DSA to determine that you are fit to teach.

Many instructors with other companies have failed check tests and had their livelihoods threatened . . . that’s why Bumpers look after their instructors by offering superb quality check test training for each and every check test you face!

We only use Grade 6 ADI’s and ORDIT registered instructors to train the Bumpers team. Nothing else will do!
